Come celebrate Palm Sunday with us!

Palm Sunday, the day we commemorate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and marks the beginning of Holy Week.

On April 9, 2017, at 9:30a.m., St Timothy’s Church will continue it’s 60 + years tradition of reenacting this major historical event of the Church year.

This true Palm Sunday celebration includes the portrayal of Roman soldiers, symbolic donkey, and joyous, palm-bearing faithful accompanied

by the sound of majestic music up the boulevard.

To add to this momentous occasion, our bishop, The Rt. Rev. Jack Iker will be making his Annual Visitation.

St. Timothy’s welcomes all ages to participate as a part of the faithful bearing palms, banner bearers, rooftop Roman soldiers.  Proper pageant apparel will be provided.  Simply plan to arrive by 8:45a.m. to be dressed and directed to the appointed area.

Feb. 19 Evensong

St. Mark’s Fine Arts
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (Anglican)

10th Anniversary Choral Evensong
Sunday, Feb. 19, at 5 p.m.

On St. Valentine’s Day in 2007, our new church building (which is our current nave and sanctuary) was dedicated. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of that dedication, on February 19 (Sunday), at 5 p.m., we will give thanks to God and remember all those whose gifts of time, talent, and funds made that dedication possible, with a special Choral Evensong featuring music written by Dr. Powell especially for that dedication. Please plan to attend and bring friends. The nursery will be staffed, and Evensong will be followed by a celebratory reception. A poster is attached, and we’d be most appreciative if you would forward this message and/or the poster to anyone who may be interested.
